The Canon PowerShot G15 Black Digital Camera is a high-end compact camera to join the ever-growing G series cameras and is the successor to the popular G12 (released in 2010). Inheriting a lot of the core features in the G12, the G15 sees the addition of a bright 28mm wide-angle f1.8-2.8 IS lens that is designed to perform beautifully across the entire zoom range, even in low light. The 12.1-megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS sensor combined with Canon's powerful DIGIC 5 image processor creates the Canon HS system for exceptional low-light performance up to ISO 12800, enhanced image quality, and ultra-fast operation. In addition, the new improved AF system, according to Canon, is 53% faster than its predecessor the G12, making it the fastest Canon compact camera ever produced. Other features of the G15 include shooting in RAW, a bright 3.0" LCD (920k-dots), an optical viewfinder and 1080p full HD movie recording.
